Derby Salon is a unique, funky boutique, spa, and full-service salon offering haircuts, hair color, skin care, waxing, manicures, pedicures and makeup. We strive to exceed your expectations by providing you with friendly service and great value. We’re that little escape where your phone is not ringing, your clock is not ticking, your inbox is empty and you can finally take some very deep breaths.

Alison’s Vision

Alison Etter opened Derby Salon in October of 2003 with the simple hope of creating a place that was comfortable and inviting to clients, while providing a great work environment for technicians and support staff. Derby is all about making our clients happy and having them want to return. The staff is technically stellar but what always appealed to Alison more was personality, and team Derby has a lot! We want to enjoy our work as much as our clients enjoy our services.

Our Personality

We offer amazing services at a great value, fun extra curricular activities like ladies lounges and our annual Beautify for Breast Cancer event, an amazing shop dog, and a chance to feel like you’re part of our community. Derby has received great press over the years and although that’s nice, we like referrals from our clients and seeing them return or drop by to say hi, even more! We will always be focused on growth and evolving our space so it can continue to support all of our needs. We strive for inspiring ourselves and clients on a daily basis and that takes constantly embracing change. Plus, staying the same is a tad boring!
